    • 6412. OLLIE MAY STOLTZ
      Ollie May Stoltz was born 1 May 1870 in Lick Prairie Precinct, Wabash County, Illinois, was the daughter of Henry and Ester Deischer Stoltz. See Number 641. Ollie May attended Stoltz School and Ny Chapel United Brethren Church. She married Gideon Gardner 16 March 1890. Gideon, or 'Gid' as he was called, was born in 1867 in Wabash County, Illinois. He was the son of Allen and Sarah Armstrong Gardner.
      Gid and Ollie May Gardner lived the first house north of the Nye Chapel Church on the west side of the road. Gid was a farmer and operated a cane press and made molasses. At the death of Ollie his wife, Sid moved in with his sister Ida Gardner who lived on the Gardner home place about one-fourth mile north of the Nye Chapel Church. Ida Gardner never married. She took care of her mother until she died and then she took care of Gid until his death.
      Gideon and Ollie May Gardner had no children. Ollie May died 25 October 1933. Both she and Gid are buried at Gards Point Cemetery, Nye Chapel Church, Wabash County, Illinois.
