    • 6414. EFFIE ALMIRA STOLTZ,
      Effie Almira Stoltz was born 3 April 1882 in Lick Prairie Precinct, Wabash County, Illinois, was the daughter of Henry and Ester (Deischer) Stoltz. See Number 641. Effie probably attended Stoltz or Lick Prairie School for three or four years. She also attended the Nye Chapel United Brethren Church before her family moved to Sand Barrens, Lawrence County, Illinois, in 1892. Here she attended the Sand Barrens Corner School.
      Effie Stoltz married John Jackman Collison 23 September 1900 in Lawrence County. John Collison was born 25 October 1877 in Lawrence County, Illinois. John Collison was the son of James Martin Collison, born 17 October 1840 in Lawrence County, Illinois, and Sarah Ellen Jackman, born 21 April 1851 in Lawrence County, Illinois. James Collison was a farmer near St. Francisville. James and Sarah Collison had eight children: (1) Mary, born 28 March 1869, (2) Laura, born 2 September 1871, (3) Victoria, born 3 September 1873, (4) William H., (5) *John Jackman, (6) Florence E., born 20 October 1879, (7) James H., born 2 May 1882, and (8) Clarence A., born 27 May 1884. James Collison died 26 August 1912 and Sarah died 20 August 1927. Both attended the Christian Church and both are buried at Oak Lawn Cemetery, St. Francisville, Illinois.
      John and Effie (Stoltz) Collison lived on a farm near St. Francisville. They were members of the United Brethren Church. John Collison died 17 July 1960 and Effie died 30 July 1932; burial at Oak Lawn Cemetery, St. Francisville, Illinois. After Effie died John Collison married second Essie Fyffe. They had no children.
      John and Effie (Stoltz) Collison had five children all born at St. Francisville, Lawrence County, Illinois.
